I have a “max relax” goal for the summer. That is to sleep until 10am at least once this summer! I feel like I might have been able to do that today since it was foggy this morning and the full sun wasn’t beating down in my room, but I woke up to pee at 7:30am and it was all over. I got back into bed and slept until about 8:30. Maybe it would be possible if I stayed out late one night, which I rarely do because I don’t like the idea of being on the roads with drunkards. I know, I’m a rebel.

This is the view from my apartment tonight. It just doesn’t get old. I wake up and can’t wait to walk out to the living room and see what the day looks like. Then I just want to sit here all day long and enjoy it. Straight ahead is West Seattle/Alki with the Olympic Mountains behind and to the right is Safeco Field.
